In order to finish our coursework we have to set ourselves SMART targets that will help us along with the production, these should be specific, measurable. achievable, realistic and time specific.

Specific – Decide task from G324 advanced portfolio

Measurable – Required to be finished before progression is made.

Agreed-up – It must be done in order to progress onto coursework.

Realistic – We are capable of completing this task.

Time specific – Within lesson

Specific-Create the product that we want to advertise and give it a brand name

Measurable-The product will be created and a brand name will be given to it

Agreed upon- Its achievable because we need to do it in order to meet the assignment brief

Realistic-We have all the resources we need to design and create a product

Time specific- This will be done between the week

Specific- Come up with creative ideas for each aspect of coursework.

Measurable-We will have created 6 ideas for the advert , of which we will choose two , and several ideas for both the radio advert and web pop-up , in which we can present to the class

Agreed upon-The whole group believes that this is a necessary in order to progress on our coursework

Realistic- We have all the resources we need to come up with creative ideas

Time specific- This will be completed within the first two weeks

Specific- Research into the conventions of our specific areas (Christina and Kim- TV adverts , Elliott-Web pop-up and Amber-radio advert)

Measurable-We will know this is completed when we have enough research to delegate job for pre production and begin planning for production

Agreed upon- We agreed upon this because we knew it was necessary to create a professional piece of coursework

Realistic- We have the resources, such as the internet, in which to conduct our research

Time specific- This will be completed in two weeks after deciding on our creative ideas

Specific-Begin planning and deciding what roles everyone will take on in the production

Measurable-We will know this is done when we have assigned roles , and we will be ready to begin production

Agreed upon-We will all be happy with the roles that have been assigned to us

Realistic- We will have the resources

Time specific- Finish this at the beginning of November

Agreed upon-this is needed in order to complete the coursework

Realistic- will use word press to produce our evaluation

Time specific- Finished By the deadline

Treatment

before filming we need to propose what ideas we have and consider what the possible positives and negatives of these ideas are , such as ethical issues

 Constraints

 We may have when filming our, Perfume advert are;

Time this could constrain our group as we are working to a deadline.

Money we could have lack of funds to film in London as we may not have the money to travel along with costumes (if needed) and make up.

Actors this could restrain us from filming because they could not turn up on time.

Weather, this could stop us from being able to film as we need a certain mise-en-scene (sunny)

Equipment this could constrain us to film, as the equipment maybe booked up and therefore we can not film on this day.

Health and Safety, as it may be busy in London actors may get knocked over when filming, we will have to look out for the best interest of our actors. This could constrain us as if our actors get hurt we would no longer be able to film.

Overall we think the ideas we have come up with and are going to precede with will be successful, because if we plan early and are organised our research and planning of the advert will be flourishing.

Classification

There is no classification needed for our advert, as most perfume adverts are shown all through out the day and we wish to keep this convention.

 Duration

Research into perfume adverts showed that, most adverts where 30 seconds to a minute long. Again we also want to stick to this convention. As adverts are short and eye catching, we need to keep this convention. If the advert was too long the audience would loose interest.

The audience we are aiming for Bisous females between the age of 21-25 this age range will be people who are possibly working and therefore have money to buy the perfume. In addition the adverts will also be for people who want to buy presents for family members who are females. For Lost and Found the audience will be the same but it will also be for men as it is a man and woman’s perfume.

 Price

We do not need to incorporate too much about the budget as we only need to invest in a few items, these being.

  • Perfume bottles
  • Costume (maybe)
  • Desk (‘Bisous’)
  • Train tickets
  • Bus fairs

 Equipment

  • The equipment we need;
  • Camera
  • Lighting (‘Bisous’)
  • Mac computer
  • Digital Camera
  •

Actors and Production team

We need to audition people these are for;

Man (tall, handsome and brunet hair) for Lost advert.

Women (who is very pretty, with either blond or brunet hair colour) this is for both our adverts. At this point we are thinking of using two different people

For the production team we have allocated jobs these are;

  • Christina -Director
  • Kim-         Producer
  • Amber-     Camera
  • Elliott-      Editor
  •

Ethical Issues

These include

Flirtatious production
